Spent a day and night at the Coliseum Hotel, mmm interesting smell. An old colonial style doss house, emphasis on old. Saw the Petronas towers

We’re now in the middle of Malaysia staying in Jerantut overnight and due to catch a 7 hour jungle train tomorrow.

    I thought I had a head for heights, but these photos make my head spin. What was it like standing there? I expect the jungle will be a totally different experience – looking forward to the next stage of your travels!

    hawker food is NOT pigeon food, and anyway, pigeons should never be fed, they’re VERMIN!!! (tell glen) Its tasty noodles and chicken rice and curries sold at street stalls.

    It wasn’t too scary up on the towers, cos its all glass-enclosed so felt quite safe! x

    After travelling around Asia Ms olgee, you’ll be telling me to fatten those pigeons up so you can mix it with your rice I tell yah !!!! but be warned, keep away from the wood pigeons, you can have the Trafalgar square squatter ones ..
