Our second tropical island is even hotter than the first. We are again staying in a beachside hut, made mostly of straw. However we now have ready access to alcohol once more (mekon buckets, oh dear). This may explain why Simon’s first aid skills took a turn for the worse. On finding Olga with a mosquito coil holder embedded in her right foot, I dilligently cleaned and dressed the wound (despite being slightly worse for wear). On inspection next morming a miraculous recovery had taken place, not a scratch to be found, erm, actually the wrong foot had been bandaged.

Hello guys! I’m finally, after much waiting, in Bangkok. I’m here for a fortnight pretty much. If you’re about in Bangkok and want to meet up just let me know – should be easily done. Have lots of fun eating, drinking and diving anyway!

Alcohol’s a great disinfectant, but you have to put it on the outside. However much you drink, it won’t seep through to the cut. MAkes it feel lots better, though!

Much to our dissapointment we’ve already had a week of virtual teetotalling on Perhentian, so we plan to make up for it in Bangkok! There’s plans being made to go to a ping-pong show with our friend and her elderly dad….if you’re up for it Bob???

If you call befriending people with beer tea-totalling…It’s just the cliché of touring Brits, wherever they turn up, they need to get drunk! What’s the attraction? It’s simply disgusting!

I don’t need to “TURN UP” anywhere .. I can get drunk where ever I am at any given time, don’t even need to be touring .. mind you I’m not British .. I fly the Kiwi flag .. :- hic ) Hope the Ping Pong game was good and the elderly dad didn’t get too outta control, nothing worse than an old Ping Pong thug .. glad things are going well with you guys, with the exception of the murder down Pond street, nothings really been going on here, nice and quiet for a bit .. anyhow you two, take care …
